What’s your idea of the perfect Alaskan winter getaway?  If it’s thousands of square miles of wilderness to explore on snowmobiles, cross country skies or snowshoes then Kenny Creek Lodge is the base camp for your winter adventure.

Although sold - KCL will be open this winter with beer on tap and a pizza oven. Different owners - same Kenny Creek Lodge! Can't wait for snow!

2006 - 2007 Season

4/9/2007 - we are now CLOSED - there is *NO* show in the parking lot, each day has been in the 50's since last week - Thank you for your business.Monday 1/29/2007 - at least 6 more inches of snow. Good riding and warm.

Thursday 1/25/2007- about 8-10 more inches of snow since last weekend. The snow is really nice!

Friday 1/19/2007 - about 8 more inches of snow since midnight and it continues to fall. Good riding!

1/14/2007 total accumulation is around 4 feet since New Year's - good riding!

1/11/2007 about 20 inches of snow since 1/10/2007 and still snowing. Powder!

1/6/2007 - total accumulation is about 1 & 1/2 feet. Nothing new. It's COLD!

1/1/2007 - we have about 1 1/2 feet. Riding is OK, not great. Lots of people are up for the weekend.

12/30/2006 *** SNOW ALERT, SNOW ALERT *** at least 5 inches at 10 a.m. today - riding is picking up!

12/19/2006 - NO MORE driving into the lodge. Snowmachines are now needed. A wimpy 6 inches has landed.

12/18/2006 - total accumulation is amazing LOW - the prior 10.5 inches has essentially blown into the hills and left nothing but frozen, hard packed snow and drifts. Driving to the lodge is still possible as of today.

11/28/2006 - 5.5 inches but it's dry and blowing away. You're still able to drive straight into the lodge.

10/24/2006 - we're freezing up, the Peter's Hills are WHITE with snow - come up for a visit! (4-wheelers)

04/03/2006: 13-18 inches of snow today. Riding is EXCELLENT!

10/21/05: 8 inches of snow, over frozen ground. The first snow of the season appears to be sticking! Let's hope for a repeat of 2004-2005!

bullet4/9/2005: The best riding of the season is now - only a few more weeks left - come and get it!
bullet3/31/2005: It's been snowing off and on just like Anchorage. We have about 6-10 more inches of snow.

bullet2/26/2005: Lots of lovely weather is starting - low 30's and sunny. Come on in for some pie!

bullet8/18/04: Very dry and smoky! There is NO snow yet, but the temperature is starting to drop off at night.
